Tighten the two shoulder bolts on the bottom of the deck plate.

Check belt alignment and tension. Readjust, if necessary.

Connect the motor wires in the junction box.

Ensure that the voltage on the motor is set correctly by checking the motor power select switch
in front of the motor. Adjust, if necessary. Refer to
Figure 3: Atlas Pump - Motor Select Switch.

Verifying Performance

Verify completion of the reassembly.

Connect the amp probe to a power leg of the motor.

Operate the unit and record the initial readings.

Note: To maximize the flowrate, the pumping unit bypass valve spring preload will need to be
adjusted. The maximum allowable load on the new motor is 5.5 amps at 220 volts
(nominal) and 11 amps at 110 volts nominal.
