D5. THREAD TENSION ADJUSTMENT
1. The tension on the needle thread is regulated by the thumb nut (A).
2. The tension on the bobbin thread is regulated by the screw of the tension spring on the
outside of the bobbin case (B).
To increase the tension turn the nut or screw clockwise, and to decrease the tension turn
the nut or screw counter-clockwise.
D6. ADJUSTING THE STITCH LENGTH
The length of stitch is regulated by pressing down the button (1) with left hand, while
turning the machine pulley (2) slowly with right hand in the condition of setting the top of
button (1) to the feeding eccentric mechanism (i.e., until it can be pushed in). To increase
the length of stitch, turn the machine pulley over toward you. To decrease the length of
stitch, turn the machine pulley to opposite direction.
When the desired length of stitch is obtained, operate the machine after fully confirmed
releasing the button (1) to the original position.
