Fig.12
Do not allow spool and string touching the wire, stones, curbs, hard surface tracks, fences and similar
railings and items, as this will cause premature wear (shortening) of cutting spool, spool damage or
user’s injury. Do not allow the product touching the trunks of trees, shrubs and other plants to prevent
them from damage (fig. 12).
String length limiting blade of the brush cutter guard.
The attached guard is equipped with a string length limiting blade.
When working with the product it is recommended to set the maximum string length (to the length at
which it is cut with a string length limiting blade). This maximizes the performance of the product for
grass mowing.
Increase in rotation speed of the string spool (can be recognized by the sound of the engine) indicates
that the string is shortened. Let it out to ensure maximum product performance.
WARNING!
When using do not lean with the trimmer spool on the ground surface. Do
not remove the string length limiting blade from the brush cutter guard.
Transportation of the product must be carried out only with the empty fuel tank in
enclosed vehicles in accordance with the rules of cargo transportation for this transport.
5 PRODUCT MAINTENANCE
5.1 Air filter
Clean or replace the foam rubber element of the air filter every 10 hours of operation. The air filter
state is one of the basic conditions of the engine safe operation.
Remove the cover protecting the air filter by removing the clip (fig.13).
Remove the air filter and wash it first in soap water solution and then in clean warm water. Dry the air
filter at room temperature before installing soak the filter with 2-3 drops of engine oil.
Install the filter in place and lock the filter protective cover.
Spark plug
Use the original spark plugs or the like. Gap between the spark plug electrode should be 0.635 mm.
Check the spark plug condition every 50 hours.
Replacing the spark:
Stop the engine and make sure that it has cooled down. Disconnect the high voltage wire from the
spark plug.
Clean the area around the plug.
Replace the faulty or dirty spark plug and spark plug with a cracked
insulator. Set the electrode gap of 0.635 mm using the dipstick.
WARNING! Do not scrape, sand or clean the spark likewise
- this can lead to engine damage when hard particles get
inside the cylinder. If necessary, use a wire brush and then
carefully blow out the spark plug electrodes with compressed air.
Screw the spark plug into the cylinder and tighten to 12.3-13.5NM. Do
not tighten the spark plug greater than recommended.
