3.3 GMC 605H Configuration Mode
Configuration mode provides the means to load software, troubleshoot installation issues, set airframe
specific configuration settings and perform required calibration procedures for the system. The
GMC 605H interface cannot be used as a means to configure or load software to the GSU 75H or
GRS 79H. Refer to Section 3.3.1.2 for details on how to accomplish configuration and setup for the remote
AHRS or ADAHRS sensor.
To enter Configuration mode on the GMC 605H:
1. Ensure the system is de-energized, then press and hold the
LVL
key while applying power to the
system.
2. Release the
LVL
key when the splash screen is displayed.
3. Press the
GMC
key located below the displayed CONT arrow.
Basic navigation of Configuration mode on the GMC 605H
• Use the NOSE UP/DN thumbwheel on the GMC 605H to scroll up and down through the page
selections. The wheel is also used for drop down menu selections or configuration
acknowledgment (e.g. Software Update).
• Use the
IAS
and
VS
keys on the GMC 605H to move the cursor to the left or right, respectively.
The
VS
key is also used to accept the desired selections.
• To exit Configuration mode, cycle power to the GFC 600H FCS.
