Terrain Proximity Legend
Select the display of the Terrain color legend on the
Terrain Proximity page from the Page Menu.
1. Press the
MENU
key to display the Page Menu
and turn the
small right
knob to highlight the
Legend selection.
Select “Show Legend”
2. Press the
ENT
key to accept the displayed selec-
tion. Repeat these steps to toggle between the
two selections.
Terrain Legend Shown in Lower Right Corner
Terrain more than 500 ft
below the aircraft altitude
Terrain is between 0 ft and 250 ft
below the aircraft altitude
Terrain is more than 250 ft
above the aircraft altitude
Terrain is between 250 ft and 0 ft
above the aircraft altitude
Aircraft Altitude -250 ft
Terrain is between 250 ft and 500 ft
below the aircraft altitude
Aircraft Altitude +250 ft
Aircraft Altitude -500 ft
Aircraft Altitude
Red
Orange
Yellow
Green
Black
