Work on the electrical equipment

rised electricians or electrical techni-
cians.
1. Disconnect the power supply cable (see circuit
diagram).
2. Remove the power supply cable.
3. Attach plugs to the power supply cable open-
ings.
Demounting the pipelines
1. Disconnect the compressed air connection.
2. Disconnect the condensate drain pipes.
3. Allow the condensate to drain away completely.
4. Immediately clear up any condensate that has
escaped.
Draining the lubricating oil
1. Open the enclosure, create access.
2. Position a suitable container beneath the oil
drain.
3. Open the drain valve and allow the oil to flow
out completely. Dispose of the lubricating oil.
4. Close the drain valve.
5. Close the enclosure.
Demounting the oil filter
1. Demount out all oil filters in the lubricating sys-
tem. Dispose of the filters.

Demounting the grease cartridges of the drive
motor lubricator
1. Open the enclosure, create access.
2. Pull the plug off from the lubricating system.
3. Unscrew lubricator (grease cartridge with drive
and cover) from the lubricating point.
4. Close the lubricating point.
5. Close the enclosure.
Demounting the air filter
1. Demount all filter elements and filter mats. Dis-
pose of filter elements and filter mats.

Disposal
General
The compressor must be dismantled and stripped
down by specialised personnel. The applicable lo-
cal safety and environmental protection regula-
tions must be adhered to when doing this.
When disposing of substances harmful to health,
the instructions of the corresponding safety data
sheets must be observed.
Packaging material, cleaning agents and used or
residual lubricants must be delivered to a recycling
centre in accordance with the regulations valid in
the place of use.
WEEE-Directive
In accordance with the WEEE directive (2002/96/
EC), Gardner Denver undertakes to support the
recovery and reuse of electrical and electronic de-
vices. Contact Gardner Denver for advice.
Disposal
The compressor should be stripped down into its
component parts to permit disposal "according to
material composition", for example into base met-
als, plastics, textile products.
Biodegradable parts should be delivered to normal
industrial waste disposal processes. Plastics, rub-
ber or composite materials must not be disposed
of by burning.
All liquid waste substances such as lubricating
oil or grease, antifreeze, cooling liquids or corro-
sion inhibitors must be disposed of using specially
approved waste disposal or recycling systems.
When doing so, it must be ensured that these sub-
stances do not get into the sewage system.
