a) Switch the motor off and secure it against unexpected restart.
b) Fasten the lifting gear on the lifting lug (Fig. 1/2) of the motor.
c) Undo the screws (Fig. 20/s

) on the housing flange (Fig. 20/n

).
d) Remove the motor axially with the coupling (Fig. 20/k) and suspend it with the lifting gear.
e) Check the fan (Fig. 20/v) and clean it, if necessary. If the fan is damaged, replace it.
f) Axially push the motor with the coupling half again on the motor side (Fig. 20/k) and using the screws

), fix it to the flange (Fig. 20/n

) of the casing.
g) Remove the lifting gear.
The coupling does not need any maintenance.
7.7.3 Integrated frequency converter
The maintenance of the integrated frequency converter is described in the operating instructions
610.00260.01.000 of the frequency converter.

7.8 Control unit and safety-relevant IAC devices
Completely perform a functional test of all safety devices as well as of the safety-relevant measuring, control
and regulation devices every year. This test must be documented in a test report.
These include:
• All measuring instruments, like pressure transmitter, temperature transmitter, etc.
• Emergency Stop / Emergency Off
• Control unit (For this, please contact our service people.)
The safety and functional test of components have to be done in accordance with the operating
and maintenance instructions issued by the respective manufacturer.
