3. Putting into operation
1. Be sure, that the device has no visible damages caused
through transporation for e.g.
2. It is recommended to place the device on places frequented
by insects regularely. The LED-lamp attracts flying insects.
Do not place up the device too close to other light sources.
Generally, the darkest place in the room that is to be protec-
ted is the best. Place the device for prevention for cleaning
the area from insects before enterting the area. When
using the device, close windows and doors if possible.
3. Do not place the device in front of an open window or an
open door as the insects do not stay in draught areas.

5. Replacement of the battery
1. Remove the housing cover.
2. Remove the old battery from its fitting.
3. Insert four new batteries size Mignon (AA). When doing so,
mind the correct polarity as shown on the bottom inside
the battery fitting.
4. Reattach the casing cover to the casing body with a audible
click into place.
6. Cleaning
1. Always switch off the appliance first.
2. With the aid of a small brush, remove the dead insects
from the grid and the lamp.
7. General information
1. Electric appliances, packaging material etc. should be kept
away from children.
2. Dispose packaging and worn out material correctly and in
an environmentally friendly way.
3. Do only pass on the device including the operation manual.
4. Subject to change of design and technical data without
notice for the sake of constant product improvement.
Warning:
For environmental reasons outdoor use is prohibi-
ted because beneficial insects could be killed.
8. Guarantee
The guarantee covers the elimination of all shortcomings,
which can be attributed to imperfect materials or manu-
facturing errors. As Gardigo has no influence on the correct
and proper assembly or operation, we can only guarantee the
quality of the components – and that the product is comple-
te. We assume neither a guarantee nor liability for damage
or resulting damage in connection with this product. This ap-
plies in particular when amendments or attempts to repair
the product have been conducted, circuits have been mo-
dified or other components have been used or damage has
been caused through operator errors, negligent handling or
misuse.
