XIII. TROUBLESHOOTING

The table below contains a list of fault symptoms and explains what you can do to 
remedy the problem if your equipment fails to work properly. If the problem still  
persists after working through the list, please contact your nearest service  
workshop.

IMPORTANT!

 

Hint in case of sending the equipment to a service centre:
Due to safety reasons please see to it that the equipment is sent back free of oil and 
petrol!

Engine does not 

start

•  Fuel tank is empty

•  Spark plug not connect-

ed with the spark plug 

cover (14).

•  Blades hitting the grass 

to be cut

•  Battery (35) is empty.

•  Check the fuel tank, and refuel if 

required.

•  Connect the spark plug with the 

spark plug cover (14).

•  Increase the cutting height of the 

mower so the blades do not make 

contact with the grass on start up

•  Charge the battery (35).

Cutting / Engine 

performance 

decreases

•  Cutting height.

•  Cutting blades are dull 

or blunt.

•  When using side dis-

charge chute (18).

•  Hard catcher (25) is full.

•  Increase the cutting height using 

the height adjustment lever (23).

•  Replace the blades with new / 

sharp blades.

•  Clean around the side discharge 

chute (18). 

NOTE: 

Always ensure 

the engine is turned off before 

undertaking this task.

•  Empty hard catcher (25).
