Let the engine run at idle speed for a few seconds to warm up.

13.

Press the throttle lever shortly and the half-throttle lock button will 

switch  off  automatically.  The  choke  will  automatically  turn  to  the 

initial up-position. The engine returns to idle speed again. The tool holder 

with the mounted cutting tool stops after some seconds.

Turning Off the Engine 

1.

Release the throttle lever. The engine is now at idle speed.

2.

Place the Start/Stop switch to the position "O" (Stop). ATTENTION: The tool 

holder will still rotate for some seconds after turning off the engine. Hold 

the machine firmly with the handle until the tool holder stops completely.

Starting the Engine – Warm Start 

For starting a warm engine, observe the chapter Starting the Engine –   Cold 

Start but please note that in this case the choke lever will remain in the 

position “OFF”. 

Hints for safe Operation 

·

When  you  work  with  the  petrol  brush  cutter  for  the  first  time, 

familiarise  yourself  with  the  operation  and  control  of  the  petrol 

cutting blade without running engine.

·

Always wear appropriate protection when working with the machine.

·

The design of the petrol brush cutter allows for operation only at the right 

side of the user's body.

·

Always  hold  the  machine  securely  with  both  hands  on  the  biker 

handles.

·

Always keep in mind that the cutting tool keeps rotating for a short while 

after the throttle is released.

·

Always  ensure  a  proper  idle  running  of  the  engine  so  that  the 

cutting tool will no longer rotate, when the throttle is pressed.

·

Always use the highest speed for work, this way you will achieve the 
best cutting result.
