7. Troubleshooting
WARNING! Electric shock!
Risk of injury due to electric shock.

Disconnect the pump from the mains before
rectifying faults.

Pump is running,
but does not deliver
Air cannot escape as pressure
line is closed
(e. g. kinked pressure pipe).

Open pressure line.
Air locks in the suction base.
v
Wait for max. 60 seconds
until the pump deaerates
automatically over the vent
valve. If necessary, switch
off and start it again.
Feed impeller clogged.
v
Disconnect plug and
clean feed impeller
(see 6. Cleaning).
When starting the pump,
water height falls below the
minimum water level.
v
Submerge pump deeper
into water.
Pump doesn’t start or
suddenly stops during
operation
Thermal overload switch has
switched the pump off due to
overheating.

Disconnect plug and
clean feed impeller
(see 6. Cleaning).
Observe maximum water
temperature of 35 °C.
No power.

Check fuse and electrical plug
and socket connections.
Dirt particles are jammed in
