The pump has been carefully inspected and tested to ensure both safety and operating
performance. However, failure to follow the instructions and warnings in this manual may result in
pump damage and/or serious injury. Be sure to read and save this manual for future reference.
PUMP INSTRUCTIONS:
Please read and understand this entire manual before attempting to assemble, operate or install
the product.

Use care when handling.

Keep fountain out of reach of children.
•
Use proper power source as indicated on water pump label.
•
Keep cord away from high temperatures or heat sources.
•
Acceptable for indoor and outdoor use.
•
When using outdoors, use with SW, SOW, STW, STOW, SJW, SJOW, SJTW or SJTOW
extension cords.
•
Connect the product’s power supply cord to a GFCI protected hooded flush type cover plate
receptacle marked "Wet Location" while using outdoors.
•
The electrical cord should loop below the electrical outlet to form a "drip loop". This will prevent
water from running down the cord into the electrical outlet.
WARNING
• To reduce risk of electric shock, connect only to a properly grounded outlet.
• To reduce risk of electric shock, inspect cord for damage before installation and/or maintenance.
Replace entire pump/cord assembly if damage is found.
• Do not exceed voltage shown on pump.
CAUTION
• Use proper power source as indicated on the pump label. Keep the cord away from high
temperatures or heat sources.
• Keep any fountain that is used with the pump out of the reach of children.
• If fountain is in an area where temperatures drop to freezing or below, remove water from base
and statuette
.
Also, remove and store the statuette and pump indoors during freezing conditions.
• Always disconnect from electrical outlet before handling the pump.
• Do not let pump run dry.
• Do not lift the pump by its power cord.
• Do not pump heated liquids.
• Operate in fresh water only.
• Pump must be completely submerged for proper operation and cooling.
