First steps – PIN lock
1.
When you activate the lock in "PIN" mode you can discard the touch field
cover and the small auxiliary tool supplied.
These are
not
required for "PIN" mode.
CAUTION:
If the lock is being used in PIN mode, under no circumstances push the
touch field cover on to the touch field, since the cover can then no longer
be removed without major damage!
The touch field cover is
not
required
for "PIN" mode.
2.
When starting the G-ELS, please make sure that the battery in the battery
compartment is properly connected (see section 8: Changing the battery).
3.
The G-ELS is "awoken" in the respective operating mode (PIN) when
you hold the
PIN admin card
close in front of the G-ELS for a brief time
(2-3 sec.).
4.
Your G-ELS is now ready for operation and signals this with an appropriate
welcome screen!
