 Do not make any unauthorised changes or modifications to the workbench, manual pushbut-
ton, spindle lift system, control module or battery.
 Do not use any battery not certified for the workbench.
 Do not use in potentially explosive atmospheres.
3.4. QUALIFICATIONS OF PERSONNEL
Specialists for mechanical work
Specialists in the sense of this documentation are persons who are familiar with assembly work,
mechanical installation, commissioning, troubleshooting and maintenance of the products and
who possess the following qualifications:
 Qualification /training in the field of mechanics as specified in the nationally applicable regula-
tions.
Specialists for electrical work
Electrical specialists in the sense of this documentation are persons who are familiar with assembly
work, electrical installation, commissioning, troubleshooting and maintenance of the products
and who possess the following qualifications:
 Qualification /training in the field of electrical technology as specified in the nationally applic-
able regulations.
Trained person
Trained persons in the sense of this documentation are persons who have been trained to perform
work in the areas of transport, storage and operation.
3.5. PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT
Comply with the national and regional regulations for safety and accident prevention. Protective
work wear such as safety shoes and safety gloves appropriate for the risks associated with the in-
tended activities must be selected and provided.
3.6. DUTIES OF OPERATING COMPANY
Ensure that all the work listed below is performed only by qualified specialists:

The operating company must ensure that personnel who work on the product comply with the
regulations and provisions together with the following instructions:
 National and regional regulations for safety, accident prevention and environmental protection
regulations.
 No damaged products are assembled, installed or commissioned.
 The necessary protective equipment is provided.
