Installation
Der GAT DC 7200 kann auf zwei verschiedene Arten montiert werden - auf einer
Hutschiene oder in Wandmontage. Installieren Sie den GAT DC 7200 im gesicherten
Innenbereich in der Nähe einer Netzsteckdose und Ethernet-Dose. Bis zu 4 Leser (16 mit
Erweiterungslizenz) sowie weitere Elemente wie ein elektr. Türöffner oder ein Türkontakt
können am Controller angeschlossen werden. Wählen Sie den Installationsort so, dass
diese Verbindungen mit möglichst wenig Kabelaufwand hergestellt werden können.
Hutschienenmontage
Der GAT DC 7200 ist für die Montage auf einer Hutschiene in einem 19-Zoll Rack, z.
B. in einem Verteilerschrank, vorgesehen. Dafür sind die folgende Maße erforderlich:
• GAT DC 7200: B:160 mm (9 Teilungseinheiten) nach DIN 43880 und kann
auf DIN-Schienen nach EN 60715 verwendet werden. H:90 mm, T:32,2 mm.
• Netzgeräte GAT SP 070 2A und SP 074 1.5A: B:78 mm (ca. 4,33
Teilungseinheiten), H:93 mm, T:56 mm.
• Netzgeräte GAT SP 070 7.5A und GAT SP 074 4.2A: B:100 mm (ca. 5,55
Teilungseinheiten), H:93 mm, T:56 mm.
• Fuse Block: B:33 mm (ca. 1,85 Teilungseinheiten).
Der GAT DC 7200 wird wie oben auf eine Hutschiene montiert.
• Ziehen Sie die Hutschienen-Lasche (1) nach unten und halten Sie sie in dieser Position.
• Setzen Sie den GAT DC 7200 von oben auf die Hutschiene (2) und drücken Sie
dann die untere Seite des Controllers auf die Hutschiene.
• Drücken Sie die Hutschienen-Lasche (1) zurück in das Gehäuse des Controllers,
bis diese in der Hutschiene einrastet.
• Stellen Sie sicher, dass der GAT DC 7200 fest sitzt.
Wandmontage
Auf der Rückseite des GAT DC 7200 befinden sich zwei Montagehalterungen für
die Wandbefestigung. Wählen Sie je nach Wandart die korrekten Schrauben und
Dübel, so dass der GAT DC 7200 sicher hält (Gewicht = 210 g). Verwenden Sie
Zylinderkopfschrauben.
• Markieren Sie die Positionen der 2 Montagelöcher (3) an der Wand (Horizontal-
abstand 89,4 mm).
• Bohren Sie die 2 Montagelöcher in die Wand.
• Drehen Sie die Schrauben (und Dübel) in die Wand, so dass sie 5 mm vorstehen.
• Setzen Sie den Controller auf die Schrauben und schieben Sie ihn nach unten, so
dass die Schraubenköpfe im schmalen Bereich der Montagelöcher einrasten.
• Stellen Sie sicher, dass der GAT DC 7200 fest sitzt.
Installation
There are two methods for mounting the GAT DC 7200 - DIN rail mounting and
wall mounting. Install the GAT DC 7200 in a secure, indoor area near power and
Ethernet outlets. Up to 4 readers (16 with expansion licence) as well as additional
connections, e.g., electronic door opener or door feedback, can connect to the
controller. These connections and the resulting cabling must be considered when
selecting the installation location.
DIN rail mounting
The GAT DC 7200 is designed to mount onto a DIN rail (top hat type) in a 19 in
rack, e.g., in a distribution cabinet. The following dimensions are required for this:
• GAT DC 7200: W:160 mm (9 subunits) according to DIN 43880 and can be
used on DIN rails according to EN 60715. H:90 mm, D:32.2 mm.
• GAT SP 070 2A and SP 074 1.5A power supplies: W:78 mm (approx. 4.33
subunits), H:93 mm, D:56 mm.
• GAT SP 070 7.5A and GAT SP 074 4.2A power supplies: W:100 mm (approx.
5.55 subunits), H:93 mm, D:56 mm.
• Fuse block: W:33 mm (approx. 1.85 subunits).
The GAT DC 7200 attaches to the DIN rail as shown in the diagram above.
• Pull the DIN rail locking lever (1) down and hold it in this position.
• Attach the top of the GAT DC 7200 onto the DIN rail (2) then push the
bottom of the unit forwards.
• Push the DIN rail locking lever (1) upwards until the tab of the locking lever
engages in the DIN rail.
• Ensure that the GAT DC 7200 is securely attached.
Wall mounting
Two mounting points are provided on the rear of the GAT DC 7200 for wall mounting.
Select the correct type of screws and dowels depending on the wall material so
that the GAT DC 7200 (weight = 210 g) is held securely. Use cylinder head screws.
• Mark out two mounting holes (3) on the wall (horizontal orientation, 89.4 mm
apart).
• Drill the mounting holes to the correct depth.
• Fasten the screws until approxi mately 5 mm protrudes from the wall.
• Attach the GAT DC 7200 onto the screws then press down so that the screw
heads sit in the narrow section of the mounting holes.
• Ensure that the GAT DC 7200 is securely attached.
