1. Insert the conduit (12) with the connection cable (3) into the opening of the back box. The opening is designed
for a conduit with 25 mm outer diameter. In this case, the lugs (13) at the opening will hold the conduit in place.
2. Insert the back box (10) into the wall recess (11) ensuring that it is flush with the wall surface (see 15). Seal the
back box e.g. with plaster or PU foam (14).
3. Feed the connection cable (3) through the opening of the GAT TimeAxx 6150 rear part.
4. Caulk the edge of the cable opening in the GAT TimeAxx 6150 rear part with silicone (1) -> see step 1 of
section “3.7.1 Surface Mounting".
5. Mount the GAT TimeAxx 6150 into the back box using three screws (2). -> see step 2
of section “3.7.1 Surface
Mounting". Ensure that the cable opening is completely sealed with the previously applied silicone.
6. The remaining installation procedure is the same as described in
section “3.7.1 Surface Mounting" starting from
step 3 onwards.
ATTENTION!
Humidity/water must never be able to penetrate into the housing. Ensure that the silicone applied (step 1 of section
“3.7.1 Surface Mounting") completely seals the housing and that the rubber seal (step 4 of “3.7.1 Surface Mounting”)
is inserted correctly and completely seals the entire length of the housing.
