Splitting of mouse and keyboard data
The mouse and keyboard data received at the USB interfaces
Port A
and
Port B
are
split in this operating mode:
The
keyboard data
are output via the
Keyboard
interface.
The
mouse data
are output via the
Generic
interface.
This operating mode is suitable for connecting USB HID devices (e. g.
ADDERLink
ipeps
) to a G&D user module, for example.
Port A:
Connect the first USB input device to this interface.
Port B:
Connect the second USB input device to this interface.
Mode:
Set the rotary switch to position
0
.
NOTE:
After the required activation of the
Generic HID mode
in the G&D user
and
computer module, the data from the USB input device connected to the
Generic
socket of the user module is transferred
unchanged
to the computer module.
In this mode, the OSD
cannot
be operated by mouse.
NOTE:
Use a precision mechanic's screwdriver to adjust the rotary switch.
