The »Power Status« socket
The contacts of the
Power Status
socket let you moni-
tor the status of the main power pack (
Main
) and the
redundant power pack (
Red.
).
You can evaluate the status of the power supply
using a programmable logic controller or the
Web-
IO 2x Digital PoE
box (separately available).
Each relais uses a changer to show the status of the power supply:
If the
power supply is interrupted,
the changer switches to pin 3 (
Main Power
)
or pin 8 (
Red. Power
).
If the
power supply is active,
the changer switches to pin 4 (
Main Power
)
or pin 9 (
Red. Power
).
ADVICE:
The
Web-IO 2x Digital PoE
box allows you to use a network connection to
report the status of the power packs via SNMP traps.
IMPORTANT:
Mind the maximum power consumption of
30 VDC; 0,5 A
!
