Manšetes uzlikšana 

1. Noņemiet no plaukstas locītavas gadījuma priekšmetus (piemēram, pulkste

-

ni). Aptiniet manšeti ap plaukstas locītavu.

2. Manšetei ir jāpieguļ pēc iespējas ciešāk rokai.

3. Fiksējiet manšetes lipīgo aizdari tā, lai tā būtu ērta, nespiestu roku, un starp 

manšeti un plaukstas locītavu nebūtu brīvas vietas.

4. Novietojiet plaukstas locītavu uz galda, ar plaukstu uz augšu. Atbalstam no

-

vietojiet zem tās nelielu priekšmetu (spilvenu), tā, lai locītava atrastos vienā 

līmenī ar sirdi. Palieciet šādā stāvoklī 2 minūtes un tikai tad sāciet mērījumu.

1. Pirms mērījumu veikšanas kā minimums uz 10 minūtēm ieņemiet sēdošu 

pozīciju.

2. Manšetei ir jāatrodas vienā līmenī ar sirdi.

3. Spiedienu mēriet vienmēr uz vienas un tās pašas locītavas (parasti kreisās).

4. Nospiediet pogu IESLĒGT/IZSLĒGT, lai ieslēgtu ierīci.

5. Sēdiet mierīgi, mērījumu veikšanas laikā nesarunājieties un nekustieties.

Ja  locītava  ar  manšeti  atradīsies  zemāk  (augstāk)  par 

sirds līmeni, iegūtie arteriālā spiediena mērījuma rezultāti var izrādīties pā

rāk augsti (zemi). Novirzes manšetes novietojumā attiecībā pret sirds līmeni 

par 15 cm mērījumos rada kļūdu, kas atbilst apmēram 10 mm dzīvsudraba 

stabiņa.
