Input and output dry contacts
The
Power+ Premium
has input and output dry contacts.
The input dry contacts enable the
Power+ Premium
computer to monitor the state (open or closed) of a
relay external to the UPS, and to generate an alarm if the state of the external relay changes.
The output dry contacts enable the
Power+ Premium
to trigger an external circuit in response to a system
alarm.
The connections for the input and output dry contacts are located on the right rear side of the controller
module of the UPS, on the external surface of the UPS, above the main terminals and the terminal fans, on
the static switch control box. Figure 13, Figure 14, and Figure 16 show the location of the input and output
dry contacts.
The dry contacts can be set up and configured at any time. Refer to the
Power+ Premium User Guide
for
detailed instructions on setup and configuration of the dry contacts.
