Input and output dry contacts
The
MegaV2 250
has input and output dry contacts.
The input dry contacts enable the MegaV2 250 computer to monitor the state (open or closed) of
a relay external to the UPS, and to generate an alarm if the state of the external relay changes.
The output dry contacts enable the MegaV2 250 to trigger an external circuit in response to a
system alarm.
The connections for the input and output dry contacts are located on the rear of the UPS, on the
external surface of the UPS, above the main terminals and the terminal fans, on the static switch
control box. Figure 9, Figure 10, and Figure 11 show the location of the input and output dry
contacts.
The dry contacts can be set up and configured at any time. Refer to the
MegaV2 250 User Guide
for detailed instructions on setup and configuration of the dry contacts.
