1. Proper operation

Air-water Basic heat pump is a compact device for heating the domestic hot. The maximum water temperature the heat pump is capable of heating water
is 55°C. However, for energy-saving reasons it is recommended not to set the temperature of domestic hot water above 45°C, as it will result in increased
costs and will cause premature wear of the heat pump's components. This type of heat pump allows to prepare domestic hot water at minimal cost for up to
4-5 person family (assuming the water consumption will amount to 50 l/person/day, and not all at once); 5-6 person family (Basic 270); 6-7 person family
(Basic 300).

Water temperature that exceeds 50°C can cause serious tissue damage. Special attention should be paid to avoid burns while the heated water
is used by the children, the disabled or elderly people.

1.1.  Device description and proper operation

The Basic heat pump contains one heat generator and an electric heater used to collect heat in the accumulator tank and heat it to a desired temperature.
The pump incorporates a coil providing an opportunity to connect an external heat source, e.g. a central heating  or solar collectors. The heat pump collects
heat from the surrounding air and uses it to heat up the water in the accumulator tank. The heat pump can be connected to air ducts, however, their diameter
cannot be lower than 160 mm. During operation the heat pump absorbs moisture from the room air and therefore the condensate generation is a normal
phenomenon. The condensate drain pipe is led out of the device and should be directed to the sewage system. In periods of high demand for energy, hot
water heating can be assisted by heater installed within the water tank. Every Basic heat pump is equipped with one spiral coil, which is used to connect
additional, external heat sources.

In compliance with (UE) NR 517/2014 i (UE) 2015/2068 device/product containing or dependant on fluorinated greenhouse gases.
Refrigerant circulation is hermetically closed.

1.2. Heat pump's purpose

Basic heat pump is used to receive the energy from the air present in the room or from outside the building (taking into account the recommended inlet
temperature) and transfers the energy to the domestic hot water tank. The device may only be operated by an adult, with no mental or physical limitations.
This person should be trained by the installer and become acquainted with the device's instruction.

1.3. Improper operation

It is prohibited to:
1.  Use fat-containing air.
2.  Use the device to heat other liquids than domestic hot water.
3.  Install the device: outdoors, in rooms exposed to freezing, in rooms exposed to dust, gases or flammable vapors.
4.  Operate the device: with its accumulator tank empty; at a temperature below +7°C..
