Communications
Setting up your W810 weigh scale indicator to communicate with the Sheep Handler

Connect the Sheep Handler to the scale using the RS232 serial lead provided in
the module enclosure.

Switch your scale on and turn the dial to ‘S’.

Using the arrows scroll down to communications then press ‘Select”.

Change the ‘Port 1’ setting to ‘Drafter Special 2’ or ‘Drafter Fast’.

If using EID change the Port 2 setting to ‘EID standard’.

Then push OK. This will take you back to the previous screen.

Turn the dial back to A for Auto.

The amber LED should now be flashing on the module box.
