Hold the controller with the battery compartment facing
you (part 5).
Remove the battery compartment cover.
Connect a 9V battery to the battery connector.
Insert the battery in the compartment and press down
the battery compartment cover.
Always insert the front part (1) first and then
press down the rear part.
Attention: Ascertain that the battery compartment is dry
when replacing the battery.
Use an Alkaline battery only.

Attach the tap joint adapter (part No. 1 in Page No. 1) to
the tap's orifice and turn the adapter counter clockwise,
until completely locked. Hand tighten only.
Join the irrigation system to the outlet of the controller
(part No. 4 in Page No. 1).
