Gala Cleaner 800
3. COMMISSIONING OF THE EQUIPMENT.
To start up the machine, follow the steps below:
•
Connect the machine to the power supply via the plug of the GALA CLEANER 800.
•
Connect the ground and brush cables to the connectors on the front of the machine depending
on whether it is a cleaning task (fig. 1) or a marking task (fig. 2).
•
Thread a carbon cleaning brush (picture 1) or a marking graphite (picture 2) onto the handle. On
the marking graphite, place a felt held in place with a rubber band.
•
Attach the earth clamp to the metal part to be cleaned or marked.
•
Switch on the machine by means of the switch.
CLEANING
•
Immerse the carbon brush in the
electrolyte liquid.
•
Pass the brush over the oxide layer and
work until it is removed. If necessary, dip
the brush several times into the electrolyte.
•
Once the work is finished, disconnect the
machine from the mains and then
disconnect the brush and ground cables
from the GALA CLEANER 800.
•
Clean the components and cables
thoroughly, leaving no traces of
electrolyte fluid.
MARKING
•
Spray marking liquid on the metal area on
which the marking photolith is to be
placed.
•
Place the photolith on the place where the
marking is to be made and hold it in
place.
•
Impregnate the felt covering the graphite
with marking liquid.
•
Pass the marking brush over the entire
surface of the photolitho repeatedly
without leaving any area uncovered.
•
Once the work is finished, disconnect the
machine from the mains and then
disconnect the brush and ground cables
from the GALA CLEANER 800.
•
Clean the components and cables
thoroughly, leaving no traces of
electrolyte fluid.
