Installation

Models 240, 246, 247, 248, 250, 256, 257, 258

Removal of old cord

1.

 

Loosen and remove the screws securing the front panel.  Pull the front panel assembly away from the
back enclosure.

2.

 

Disconnect the modular telephone line from the PC board.  Disconnect the four handset wires from
the PC board.

3.

 

When replacing a PVC cord, use a Heyco® bushing tool, or a set of needlenose pliers, to squeeze the
notch on the front panel side of the strain relief bushing and pull out the bushing.
