Boiler Baffles

Baffles are fitted in the heat exchanger of Boilers, they provide optimum heat distribution to
maintain the Boiler efficiency and quiet operation.
When baffles are left out, wrongly positioned or excessively distorted, the Boiler efficiency
will be drastically reduced.
Baffles should be removed, cleaned and replaced during routine servicing.
Care should be taken when replacing baffles to ensure that they are correctly fitted.
If baffles appear to be missing check they have not fallen to the bottom of the heat
exchanger during transit.

9-2.1 Baffles for Floor Standing Boilers
