8.2 Connecting the appliance

Gas connection
The gas connection must be in a location that
permits access to the shut-off valve and which, if
applicable, is visible after opening the door of the
furniture item.
By means of the included R 1/2" connection bracket
(on the appliance end) with the affiliated washer,
the appliance must be connected to a fixed copper.
For Natural Gas the regulator must be connected.
A flexible connection is not permitted.
Electrical connection
The appliance is connected to the mains (240 V AC)
by means of the connecting lead with the earthed
plug. It must be plugged into an earthed socket
which remains accessible after installation of the
appliance. When making the connection, make
sure that the lead cannot come into contact with hot
parts of the hob.
Warning:
This appliance is equipped with a three prong
grounding plug for your protection against shock
hazard and should be plugged directly into a pro-
perly grounded receptacle. Do not cut or remove
the grounding prong from this plug.
