TROUBLESHOOTING
10.1 How to overcome possible failures

= machines with battery

Possible failures affecting the whole machine
FAILURES CAUSES REMEDIES
The machine does not work • [B]= the battery connector is
disconnected
• [B]= connect the batteries to
the machine
• [B]= the batteries are flat • [B]= recharge the batteries
• [C] = fuse blown • [C] = replace the fuse
• [C]= the machine plug is
disconncted from the mains
• [C]= plug the machine
The brushes do not turn • the main switch LED is off • press the main switch
• the brush switch has not
pressed
• press the brush switch
• [B][C]= the brush motor thermal
protection has tripped: the motor
has become overheated
• [B][C]= release the brush
lever, turn the brush switch to
position “off” (LED off), leave
the machine cool down for at
least 45’
• the power supply or motor
thermal cutout connectors are
disconnected
• reconnect the power supply
or motor thermal cutout
connectors
• [C]= Fuse blown • [C]= replace the fuse
• [B] [C]= the brush motor relay
is faulty

The brush motor has trouble in

having an inadequate section on

voltage is sensibly lower than
that intended for the scrubber
(15% less)
• avoid the use of inadequate
extensions. Increase the
section of the electric wires
and find out sockets with a
higher voltage
• the motor is faulty • have the motor replaced
The machine does not wash
evenly
• the brush or abrasive disc is
worn
• replace them
