6. CLEANING AND STORAGE
WARNING
• Before cleaning, always take the plug out of the electric socket.
• Make sure no water gets into the appliance.
• Do not use flammable liquids for cleaning! Fire hazard.
• Make sure you have dry hands when handling the appliance. Electrocution hazard!
Cleaning the appliance:
• After use, turn the appliance off and unplug it from the socket.
• Place it on a heat-resistant surface until it cools down.
• Clean the appliance with a soft cloth. Do not clean the product with detergents, al-
cohol, etc. or with sharp, pointy, abrasive and corrosive cleaning system or hard bru-
shes.
7. DISPOSAL
To protect the environment, at the end of its service life, the appliance must not be
disposed of as normal household waste.
It must be disposed of at an authorised collection centre in your country.
Observe the local rules on the disposal of the materials.
Dispose of the appliance according to European Directive on waste electrical and electro-
nic equipment (WEEE).
When in doubt, refer to your local entities in charge of disposal regulations.
8. SUPPORT AND WARRANTY
• This appliance is solely intended for domestic use and cannot be used for professional
purposes.
• The appliance is covered by a two-year warranty from the time of purchase, which
must be proven by proof of purchase. This period complies with the national regu-
lations transposing Directives 2011/83/EU, 1999/44/EC, 1999/34/EC on Consumer
Guarantees and only applies if the consumer is a private subject.
• The warranty only covers manufacturing defects and is not valid if the damage is cau-
sed by an accidental event, incorrect use, negligence or misuse of the product. It does
not cover materials subject to natural consumption or wear due to use.
• Do not open or modify the appliance for any reason. In the event of opening or tampe-
ring, the warranty shall be forfeited.
• After 2 years from purchase, the warranty expires, and technical support will be char-
ged. Information on technical support, be it under warranty or charged, can be obtai-
ned by contacting Gabbiano S.p.A. at the address provided on the last page. The
