STYLING TIPS
The iQ has exceptional airflow and pressure, so we highly recommend a unique drying setting when styling to
ensure hair protection and optimize the performance of the hair dryer. The recommended drying setting for all hair
types is the 2nd temperature level, while we suggest the 1st temperature level for fine hair.
ERROR RECOGNITION / SELF-DIAGNOSIS
The hair dryer is equipped with multiple sensors that constantly monitor usage parameters. In case of extreme or
unusual use, the hair dryer will stop its operation or not turn on in order to protect both the user and the product
itself. Any anomaly detected by the hair dryer is indicated by a flashing light code on the handle.
Since some types of anomaly are temporary (for example, an extreme use of the hair dryer which generates an
excess in temperature), we recommend to proceed as follows:
1-
Turn the switch to the 0 position I.
1.1 -
Make sure the filters are clean. If not, perform proper maintenance before turning the power back on.
2-
Unplug the appliance from the power outlet.
3-
After a few minutes, connect the appliance to the power outlet again and turn it on.
If the fault/abnormality is temporary, the hair dryer will operate normally. If, on the other hand, the fault
recurs, contact the assistance of the store or, in case of purchase on the online shop of the manufacturer GA.MA,
the customer service of the company.
N.B.:
Since IQ is equipped with a sophisticated and sensitive electronic system, a change in electrical voltage
could cause an error signal and therefore a switch off of the device. This is functional and it is a self-protection
mechanism.
