Ensure there are no joists behind the intended
location using a stud location tool.
Place the supplied self-adhesive mounting template
on the ceiling, prior to cutting with a keyhole saw or
similar.
Always use a good quality loudspeaker cable, allowing
sufficient length for the loudspeaker to be easily
installed or removed. Connect to the two spring
terminals, being careful to observe polarity, positive to
positive and negative to negative.
Local Building Regulations may require the use of
low smoke and/ or halogen free cabling. The installer
is responsible for compliance with any applicable
regulations.
To install the speaker in the ceiling, first ensure the
4 mounting clamps are turned fully inwards, to clear
the aperture. Carefully tighten the 4 clamp screws to
secure to the ceiling.
Do not over-tighten the screws
to avoid distorting
the speaker moulding or damaging the ceiling. When
using a cordless screwdriver to tighten the clamping
screws, always set the clutch to the lowest setting to
prevent damage.
Offer the Grille up to the speaker and let the magnets
“snap” the grille into position.
