COMPONENTS & CONTROLS (FIG.1)
ASSEMBLY
WARNING! The tool should never be connected to a
power supply when you are assembling parts, making
adjustments, cleaning, performing maintenance, or
when the tool is not in use. Disconnecting the tool will
prevent accidental starting that could cause serious
injury.
ASSEMBLING THE DUST EXTRACTION UNIT
The dust extraction unit contains 4 parts:
A: Dust nozzle
B: Dust tube
C: Nozzle band
D: Dust extraction end tube
Before connecting any tubes together, slide the nozzle
band over the dust tube and position at the raised rib.
Push the dust tube into the dust nozzle and then slide
the dust extraction end tube onto the dust tube, Fig.2.
Install the nozzle band on the tool so that its
protrusions fit in the holes in the tool to secure it (See
Fig.3 for the connection points).
Put the felt ring (H) and the sanding pad (G) on the dust
nozzle attachment and then secure them with the
clamping washer (F) and installation bolt (E), Fig.4.

ATTACHING BLADES
If required, remove the blade already fitted. Unscrew
and remove the installation bolt using the Hex key
supplied, Fig.5. Remove the clamping washer and the
blade, Fig.6. Locate the required blade on the spindle
ensuring that it is correctly located on the tool fixing
plate, Fig.7. Position the blade to give the most
appropriate cutting position, Fig.8 and then replace the
clamping washer and tighten the installation bolt using
the Hex key supplied. Check to ensure that the blade is
correctly located on the tool fixing plate. Incorrectly
fitted blades can become loose during operation and
can become damaged or cause injury.
FITTING THE SANDING PAD (FIG.9)
The sanding pad is fitted in the same way as the other
blades. The sanding sheets are of the “Hook and
Loop” type for quick and easy replacement of the
sanding sheets.
Before attaching the sanding sheet ensure that the

on the sanding sheet are free from any debris.
Position the sanding sheet flush alongside one edge of
the sanding pad then place the sanding sheet onto the
sanding pad and press firmly. To remove the sanding
sheet grip one of the corners and peel it away from the
sanding pad. Any sanding sheets, fleece
pads/polishing cloth pads of the 93mm Delta format
