- Turn off the device and remove the battery in the following conditions:
•
if the device is left unattended;
•
before checking, cleaning or other work on the device;
•
if the device starts to vibrate excessively.
Before use
- Familiarise yourself with the device and its functions and controls before starting work.
- Check the device for signs of wear or damage before starting up and after a collision.
- Do not use device whose switch is defective and can no longer be switched on or off.
- Never use device with damaged or missing parts. Have them repaired or, if necessary, replaced by a
qualified technician or specialist workshop.
- Always wear appropriate personal protective device (safety goggles, hearing protection, non-slip
work gloves, etc.) when working with or on the device. Wearing personal protective device reduces
the risk of injury.
During use
The heat gun may only be used by those who have thoroughly familiarized themselves with it. All
users must know the function and operation of this tool, but also its limitations and possible dangers.
This will greatly reduce the risk of electric shock, fire and serious injury.
- Remove all packing materials and, if necessary, the transport locks. Keep packaging materials away
from children - danger of suffocation!
- Never place your hands over the ventilation slots or block the ventilation slots in any other way.
- The nozzle and the attachments become very hot! It is essential to let them cool down before
touching them!
- The heat gun must be switched off before it can be put down.
- Never leave switched on tools unattended!
- This product can cause fires if not handled with extreme care!
- Heat can also be transferred to flammable objects that are not immediately obvious.
- DO NOT use the heat gun when flammable gases may be present in the air or near flammable
materials.
- The heat gun must cool down before it can be packed away!
