- Manual Mode -

 The unit is in manual mode when the 

display shows three wavy bars.

 

- Vertical Mode-

 The unit is in the vertical mode when the 

display shows seven level bars. (Model with vertical option only)

 

-Rotor Speed-

 When the unit is in the level or manual mode 

the rotor speed will be changed and displayed when the + or – 

buttons are pressed. (Model with speed option only)

 

-Leveling Condition-

 the numeric display area will flash 

when the leveling servo is outside of the leveling dead band and 

stays on solid when the unit is self-leveled (in grade and level mode 

only).   When leveling limits have been reached, unit will beep and 

two segments of the right hand digit will display the corner where the 

limit has occurred.

 

-Leveling Range- 

When the base of unit is level the unit will 

level to +8% to –8% grade.  For grades greater than 8% the base of 

the unit will have to be tipped in the grade direction to allow unit to 

level to larger grades.

 

-Height of Instrument –

 When the height of instrument has 

changed the unit will beep and the display will show   “ HI “.  Press 

the power button once to reset the H.I.
