4. Can a message be received? If not, check the following points:
1) Is the power of +9 VDC applied to the antenna terminal of NX-7001?
2) Execute “[MENU] -> Service -> Test”. If the result of the Rx Test is OK, the
problem is not with the Receiver unit.
3) If possible, replace the Antenna unit to FAX-5 type for checking. When a
message can be received by this, the problem is with the Antenna unit.
5. Check the program version. See page 6-6 for details.
Execute “[MENU] -> Initialize2 -> Serviceman Test”.

6. Memory can be cleared by the following method. See page 7-15 for details.
- To clear user setting
: [MENU] -> Service -> Default Setting
- To clear all
: [MENU] -> Initialize1 -> All Clear
- To clear received messages : [MENU] -> Initialize1 -> Delete All Msg

Test” is the version in conformity with
the requirements for the type approval.
