Recalibration using the FCS541 Utility
The Calibration tab allows adjustment of calibration settings.
Clicking on the Read from Tx button uploads the current gain and output settings, which are
displayed in the appropriate boxes. The gain is displayed as a percentage factor and the output
settings are displayed as a digital bit-count. These settings can be adjusted against values
measured using calibration equipment. Amended settings can be downloaded to the connected
transmitter by clicking on the Write to Tx button.
The Output Test buttons allow the output level to be tested, regardless of input pressures.
The
Minimum
button sets the output to the set minimum value (e.g. 4mA).
The
Mid
button sets the output to the mid-point value (e.g. 12mA).
The
Maximum
button sets the output to the maximum value (e.g. 20mA).
The
Reset
button immediately cancels test mode and returns the output to normal.
