Operation
The deskfocX FT4 call station is designed for a static location application
and is used for voice communication with mobile TETRA™ radio handsets.
The call station can be used as a stand-alone or as an upgrade to an static
funktel Webnet Client workstation.
Tip
Operation of the call station corresponds broadly with the operation of an
FT4 handset. If necessary, consult the operating manual of the device.
To program and configure the call station, use only the user program
(configuration program) designated “TETRA FT4 x” supplied with the call
station.
The mode of operation when a connection is accepted by the call station
depends on the programming of the handset that is making the call. It is
therefore recommended that you contact your system administrator.
Switching on / switching off
The call station does not have its own switch by which it can be discon-
nected from the mains.
Should you therefore wish to disconnect the device from the mains, discon-
nect the mains power supply to the plug-in power supply unit of the call
station.
Operational switching on and off of the TETRA™ radio unit including the
display takes place by means of a long keystroke on the red button (hang
up] in the keypad of the call station.
