• Do not tilt the connector when inserting it into the HDMI jack, and make sure the shapes of the
jack and the connector are matched.
• When connected to an HDCP incompatible display device, the picture will not be displayed
properly.
• Use an HDMI cable with the HDMI logo (a certified HDMI cable) for this connection.
• High Speed HDMI cable (also known as HDMI category 2 cable) is recommended for better
compatibility.
• To enjoy Blu-ray 3D™ video, connect this unit to a 3D capable TV using a 3D compatible HDMI
cable.
3.2 Standard Video + Standard Audio Connection

• Connect this unit directly to the TV. If the audio / video cables are connected to a VCR, then the
pictures may be distorted due to the copyright protection system.
