3 .4 .1 Seal test
- Remove the protective plugs (
B
) from the charging
hole (
Schrader
) in the "Gas" valve (large diameter).
- Connect the high pressure hose to the
Manifold
- Connect the bottle of nitrogen to the
Manifold
(Use only dry nitrogen type U).
- Pressurize the refrigerant circuit with nitrogen
(10 bar maximum) ("Gas" connection – condensor -
"Liquid" connection assembly).
- Let the circuit under pressure for 30 minutes.

- If pressure drop, get it down to 1 bar and look for leaks
with a leak detector, repair and repeat the test.

Creating a vacuum
The 3 empty method (ANNEX 2) is highly
recommended for any installation especially when
the outdoor temperature is below 10 ° C.
- If necessary, calibrate the
Manifold
gauge to 0 bar.
Adjust the vacuum gauge to the atmospheric pressure
(around 1013 mbar).
- Connect the vacuum pump to the
Manifold
. Connect
a vacuum gauge if the vacuum pump is not equipped.

- Create a vacuum until the residual pressure* in the
circuit falls below the value given in the following table
(* measured with the vacuum gauge).
