4 OPERATION TIPS
4-1 Selectable Modes (for VRF system)
There are restrictions on the selectable modes depending on
the system configuration and operation status.
4-1-1
Heat recovery system
(a) When single indoor unit connected to RB unit
All the modes can be selected.
(b) When a master indoor unit is set in an RB group, only
the mode selected at the master indoor unit (*1) can be
used. (*1: “Fan” cannot be selected at the indoor unit
including the master indoor unit.)
(c) When a master indoor unit is not set in the RB Group,
refer to the following table.

Verification screen when setting is
complete
The verification screen which is
displayed when a setting is com-
plete is displayed for approximately
3 seconds. When this screen is
touched, the display switches to
the next screen.

Settable temperature range
The settable temperature range by operation mode and
indoor unit setting is shown in the table below.
Cool/Dry*
18 to 30 °C (64 to 88 °F) or
20 to 30 °C (68 to 88 °F)
Heat
VRF system: 10 to 30 °C (48 to 88 °F)
Other system: 16 to 30 °C (60 to 88 °F)
Custom Auto Same as the above range, but there are tempera-
tures that cannot be set due to the deadband.
Auto*
18 to 30 °C (64 to 88 °F) or
20 to 30 °C (68 to 88 °F)
NOTE
* The lower limit of the setting temperature is different
depending on the place of use.
