Hardware installation
Mounting the rack model
Ê
Using the installation tool (stencil), mark the position of the fixing points for
the rails and the server (front panel) on the support uprights (five height
units). Refer to the information on the installation tool.
Ê
Place the spring nuts for fixing the rails in the groove on the support upright
at the marked fixing points.
Ê
Adjust the position of the nuts in the groove until they engage at the correct
position.

There is a small positioning hook (a) at each end of the carrier rails.
Ê
Use these hooks to suspend one of the prepared rails in the holes on the
support upright next to the spring nuts at the marked fixing points. The fixing
holes in the rail cover the spring nuts.
