Fitting rules 

●

A mix of SAS and SATA drives within the SX960 S1 storage blade is not 
allowed.

●

A maximum of two SX960 S1 storage blades can be installed into a system 
unit (BX400 S1 and BX900 S1).

●

Only slots 2&3 and slots 6&7 or slots 4&5 of a BX400 S1 system unit can 
be fitted with SX960 S1 storage blades. They provide the server blade in the 
adjacent slot to the left with additional disk space (see 

figure 3

).
