8.2.1 Hardware Troubleshooting

This section explains hardware related troubleshooting. Check the following if the server does not 
operate properly or a failure is suspected. For optional devices, refer to the manual for each optional 
device.

The server does not power on, or the power LED on the front of the server 

does not light up

Check to see whether the power cable is properly connected to the outlet. For instructions on connecting 
the power cable, refer to "Start Guide".

The access LED does not light up

The server may be damaged. Contact an office listed in the "Contact Information" of "Start Guide". 
When contacting your maintenance engineer, refer to "8.8.1 Contacting Maintenance Support"
