CHAPTER 2 General Hardware Configuration

2.2

System Board (SB)

CPUs, memory, various chipsets, and a DC-DC converter are mounted on the SB:

The PRIMEQUEST 480 main unit contains one to eight SBs, and the
PRIMEQUEST 440 main unit contains one to four SBs.

The SB contains one to four CPUs and one set (four modules) to eight sets (32
modules) of memory.

At least one CPU and one set of memory must be mounted on an SB that composes
a partition.
