This part describes redundant configuration of the following components for the
PRIMEQUEST 480 family.

• System Board (SB)

From one to up to eight SBs can be mounted. Redundant configuration can be
adopted depending on the operation methods. For details, see

CHAPTER 8,

"Partition,"

and

CHAPTER 9, "Clustering."

An SB can have one to four IPF CPUs

and up to 8 set (32) memory boards (DIMMs).
