Pocket LOOX 600 in mobile use
The Pocket LOOX 600 is equipped with a powerful battery that allows you to work for several hours
without a connection to a power supply. When you're on the road your Pocket PC is supplied with
power by the integrated battery. At your home or office you can recharge the battery in the cradle.
You can also take along the power adapter and connect your Pocket PC directly to an electrical
outlet to recharge the battery when you're on the go.
In this chapter you'll learn how to charge the battery and use it most efficiently for mobile operation.
In addition, you'll find important information on transporting your Pocket LOOX 600 and explanations
on what you should watch when travelling with your Pocket PC in this chapter.
Using battery
Charging the battery
The battery is not charged at the time of delivery. Therefore, charge the battery for 12 hours before
the first mobile use. Charge the battery at least four hours each time between mobile uses.
You have two ways of doing this:
Ê
Connect the Pocket PC directly to an electrical outlet with the power adapter.
Ê
Connect the cradle to an electrical outlet via the power adapter and place the Pocket PC in the
cradle.
In both cases you can work with the Pocket PC during charging. This extends the charging time
slightly.

During charging the LED (12) flashes green. When the battery is fully charged, the LED
lights up continuously in green.
