Key combinations
Key combinations cannot be changed.
You can fi nd information on programming the tablet buttons in "Programming
the tablet buttons", Page 49 .

Starting prede fi ned application A
This button allows you to start a previously de fi ned application.
By default, the button is precon fi gured to start the Launch Center application.

This button allows you to start a previously de fi ned application.
By default, the button is precon fi gured to start the Windows Journal
application.

Toggle output screen
Use this key combination to select which screen(s) is/are used for display if
an external monitor is connected.
Screen output is possible:
• Monitor(s) connected to the notebook:
internal LCD screen -> only CRT (VGA) -> internal LCD
CRT (VGA) -> only HDMI -> internal LCD HDMI -> back to
beginning (internal LCD screen)
• Monitor(s) connected to the Port Replicator:
internal LCD screen -> only CRT (VGA) -> internal LCD CRT
(VGA) -> only DVI > internal LCD DVI -> only DisplayPort ->
internal LCD DisplayPort -> only HDMI -> internal LCD screen
+ HDMI -> back to beginning (internal LCD screen)
The tablet button
has a practical delay function: This allows you to press
the two buttons for a shortcut one after the other instead of needing to press
them both at the same time. After pressing the
tablet button, you have a
short time (2 to 3 seconds) to press the second button.
Programming the tablet buttons
You can program the tablet buttons to open a speci fi c application or execute
a speci fi c function when pressed.
Proceed as follows:
► In Control Panel, select the option to manage the settings for the tablet buttons and pen.
► Follow the instructions on the screen and program the tablet buttons as you require.
