Indicates a physical cell number.

Logical Cell No.

Indicates the address on the logical library. (This applies only when the logical library
configuration is used.)

SCSI Address

Indicates an address of the element in SCSI.

Barcode Label

The barcode label of the tape cartridge stored in the cell is displayed.

•

If the barcode label cannot be identified or no barcode label is affixed, "No_Label" is
displayed.

•

If there is no tape cartridge, "No_Tape" is displayed. In such case, "Media type" is not
displayed.

Status

For more details, refer to

Table 3.6

below.

Media Type

Indicates the tape cartridge type.
If the tape cartridge cannot be identified, "Unknown" is displayed.

Display item

Explanation

Normal

Indicates that the tape cartridge is normal.

Forbidden

Indicates that the tape cartridge is not the one to be stored in the cell.

Cell Error

Indicates that the cell has a failure.

Warning

Indicates that the tape cartridge is abnormal.

Media Error

A tape cartridge is not available because of a media error. Replace it with a new tape
cartridge.

Near Media Life

Indicates that the operation count of a tape cartridge has reached its near-replacement
threshold.

Reach Media Life

Indicates that the operation count of a tape cartridge has reached its replacement
threshold.

Invalid

Indicates that the tape cartridge is not supported.

Unmatch

Indicates that the contents of the tape cartridge and the label data do not match.
