Each RAID level description is shown below.

RAID0 (striping)
Data is split in unit of blocks and stored across multiple disks.

RAID0 concept

RAID1 (mirroring)
RAID1 stores the same data on two duplicated disks at the same time.
If one disk fails, other disk continues operation.
